Cookie Policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Forenta (forenta.tech) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use the Forenta platform. It is part of, and should be read alongside, our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences (such as login state or language) over a period of time, so you don't have to re-enter them every time you come back or browse from one page to another. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage and pixels.
2. Why we use cookies
Forenta uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember that you have seen the cookie notice. No analytics provider is connected in this release. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or retargeting.
3. Which cookies we set
Below is the complete list of cookies Forenta may set on your device. We keep it short on purpose.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase authentication session | Session | Strictly necessary |
| forenta_cookies | Remembers your cookie consent choice | 12 months | Strictly necessary |
4. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to work. They enable authentication, session management and remembering your cookie choice. Because they are needed to deliver the service you request, they do not require prior consent. Blocking them prevents parts of the site from working correctly.
5. Analytics status
The code contains a consent-aware analytics interface, but no external analytics service is currently connected. Choosing an analytics preference therefore does not send usage events to an analytics provider. We will update this policy and the consent flow before activating one.
6. Third-party cookies
Forenta does not set third-party advertising, retargeting, marketing or social-media tracking cookies. When you click an outbound link (for example to an external portfolio or a payment provider), the destination site may set its own cookies. Those are governed by that site's own cookie policy, not ours.
7. How to manage your preferences
The banner stores your choice in localStorage and in the forenta_cookies cookie. Clear site data for forenta.tech to show the banner again. Your browser settings can also view, delete or block cookies. Blocking the Supabase authentication cookie prevents you from staying signed in.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Substantive changes will be announced in-app.
