Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 April 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Forenta (forenta.tech) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use the Forenta platform. It is part of, and should be read alongside, our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences (such as login state or language) over a period of time, so you don't have to re-enter them every time you come back or browse from one page to another. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage and pixels.

2. Why we use cookies

Forenta uses cookies for two purposes only: (a) to keep you securely signed in and to operate core features of the platform, and (b) to measure anonymous usage of the website so we can improve the product. We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, profiling, or selling data to third parties. Ever.

3. Which cookies we set

Below is the complete list of cookies Forenta may set on your device. We keep it short on purpose.

Cookie namePurposeDurationType
sb-*-auth-tokenSupabase authentication sessionSessionStrictly necessary
forenta_cookiesRemembers your cookie consent choice12 monthsStrictly necessary
forenta_analyticsAnonymous first-party usage analytics12 monthsAnalytics (opt-out available)

4. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the site to work. They enable core functionality like authentication, session management, CSRF protection and remembering your cookie consent choice. Because they are strictly necessary to deliver a service you explicitly requested, they do not require prior consent under the GDPR / ePrivacy Directive. Blocking them will break the site.

5. First-party analytics

We use privacy-respecting, first-party analytics to understand how visitors interact with forenta.tech (which pages are visited, aggregate time on page, broad device type). These analytics are anonymous, aggregated, never linked to an identifiable person, and never shared with third parties. We rely on legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can opt out via the cookie banner at any time — choose "Necessary only" and your visit will not be counted.

6. Third-party cookies

Forenta does not set third-party advertising, retargeting, marketing or social-media tracking cookies. When you click an outbound link (for example to a builder's external portfolio or a payment provider), the destination site may set its own cookies — those are governed by that site's own cookie policy, not ours.

7. How to manage your preferences

You can accept or decline analytics cookies via the banner that appears on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser cookies for forenta.tech (the banner will reappear) or by adjusting your browser settings to block cookies. Most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies from the settings / privacy menu.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Substantive changes will be announced in-app.
