Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Forenta you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email; continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Services
Forenta is a co-building platform connecting AI-native builders — developers, designers, AI engineers, and advisors — with founders and project starters. We provide: AI-powered idea analysis (Forge), skill-based matching, structured trial collaborations, project workspaces with messaging and task management, a credits-based engagement model, and Signal Score reputation tracking. Forenta facilitates introductions and collaboration tools but is not a party to agreements between users.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. One person may maintain only one account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts with false or misleading information.
4. User Conduct
You agree to: provide truthful information in your profile, skills, and work samples; communicate respectfully with all users; honor commitments made in trial collaborations; respect intellectual property rights. You may not: circumvent the credits system or platform fees; take collaborations off-platform to avoid credits usage; harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users; create fake profiles or misrepresent your identity; scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the platform; use the Forge AI engine to generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.
5. Subscriptions, Credits & Payments
Forenta offers three plans: Lite (free, 10 credits/week), Pro (€29/month, 25 credits/week + 100/month), and Elite (€79/month, 50 credits/week + 250/month). Subscription payments are processed securely via Stripe. Credits are used for matching, trial creation, workspace features, and visibility boosts. Unused weekly credits do not roll over. Monthly bonus credits expire at the end of the billing cycle. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds are handled per our refund policy — contact billing@forenta.tech within 14 days of charge.
6. Intellectual Property
Content you create and upload to Forenta (profiles, work samples, messages) remains your property. You grant Forenta a limited, non-exclusive license to display your public profile content on the platform. Work produced during trial collaborations belongs to the parties as agreed in the trial terms. Forenta retains no ownership over project deliverables. The Forenta name, logo, and platform design are trademarks of Forenta B.V.
7. Privacy & Data
Your use of Forenta is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform you acknowledge that: your public profile may be visible to other users and visitors (controlled by your visibility settings); the Forge Idea Engine processes your input with AI but does not permanently store idea descriptions; workspace messages are stored securely and visible only to workspace members; you can control your discoverability via Settings → Privacy at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Forenta is not liable for: indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; the quality, safety, or legality of work performed between users; disputes between users (though we offer mediation); losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to secure credentials. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid Forenta in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time via Settings. Upon closure: your profile is removed from public listings within 24 hours; your data is deleted per our retention policy (see Privacy Policy); remaining credits are forfeited and non-refundable; active trial collaborations must be completed or mutually cancelled. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice except in cases of severe violations (fraud, harassment, illegal activity).
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rotterdam, unless mandatory EU consumer protection law provides otherwise. Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through our internal dispute resolution process.
